Tatva and Taamara seize all the possible musical moments that one can experience in a live act. Their freinzied performance have left audiences across India breathless. Tatva on electronics is like a maniac, let loose from an asylum devouring every beat, every rhythm and reflecting his hi-energy productions on the listeners. Taamara complements him on vocals, a creamy mixture of deep, tribal Carnatic alaaps and poetic Western melodies, free-stlying and flowing along with Tatva (founder Chil Om Records). Her songwriting comes through as strongly only illuminating the sound.

The duo are favorites this season among clubbers who are in search of new-age dance music. The two of them have created a sound so unique that definitely has potential to cut through any barriers that exist in the Indian electronic scene. Tatva and Taamara are creating a new flavor this season and taking their record label Chill Om Records to a completely different space. They have teamed up for live performances at venues such as Blue Frog (mumbai), Submerge Sundown Sessions at Vie (Mumbai), Hilltop (Goa), Zanibar (Goa), Aurus (Mumbai), One (Pune) just to name a few.

They have also coupled up for a track on Tatva's latest compilation Swaraaj which saw big release in December with world-renowned percussionist Taufiq Qureshi launching it. The Sunburn festival has been the last est milestone for these two. After creating a buzz at the festival in Goa, the artistes are now touring extensively for Swaraaj and also to promote their next big project titled "Jack & Jill" which is a complete dance album.

From progressive trance, to cutting edge Drum 'n' Bass and powerful psychedelic, they forte extends to even acoustic music. Tatva with his live bass ad other tribal instruments and Taamara with her other-worldly and almost sureal rendering keep the clubbers hooked on to the dance-floor.

The Tatva-Taamara team up is catching a lot of attention in the international music circles and is being appreciated by well-known artistes such as Anoushka Shankar, Karsh Kale crew, Cheb-I-Sabbah and a whole lot of others.

Tatva has been the most sough-after artiste from Chill Records for his crazy electronics and live performances. He has been on international compilations such as Buddha Bar and Cafe Del Mar, alongside artistes such as Talvin Singh, Transglobal Underground, Dj Spooky etc. He has also played a whole bunch of festivals including Shantijatra (Nepal), Moondust (Rajasthan), Jaipur Viraasat Festival (Jaipur) and of course Sunburn (2008) alongside artistes such as the Midival Punditz, Osmani Soundz, Nasha Experience etc.
With dates choc-o-bloc and recording constantly in their cosy studio, the urban monk and the modern gypsy are looking forward to tear the world apate with their music.
