Contemporary Techno Structures w/ Tadan

Artmospheric Festival’s techno wing - Contemporary Techno Structures - is back after a long break. During the second decade of the century the crew presents to Sofia techno avantguarde artists like Alan Backdrop, Bas Amro, Brando Lupi, Claudio PRC, Dave Twomey aka Tr nch, Donato Dozzy, Eric Cloutier, Evad, Severja, Kangding Ray, Marcus Henriksson, Monolake, natural/electronic.system., Ness, Peter van Hoesen, Refracted, Shackleton, Stigr, Synthek, Tengui and more.

Nowadays, the techno “underground” already has a solid history, the nostalgic feeling to the early techno boom has descended, more and more people make their own type of music and parties, free of illusionary patterns for success and sick ambitions to turn the (alternative) culture into a business model. New movements and subcultures are being formed - having less constraints and being more open to experiments, always upgrading the quality. There is no too slow or foo fast bpm, the broken becomes straight and vice-versa.

So now, Contemporary Techno Structures is back to continue exploring the interaction between the squared and rounded forms across the deeper dimensions of techno music. Mechanics, movement, density and volume. A tectonic groove and proper visuals for a complete dance-floor experience of highest resolution.

We are gathering on June 7th, Saturday, at Sofia’s club DOM equipped with a brilliant sound-system by Danley Sound Labs. Our special guest will be the man behind area127 - the Lithuanian Tadan who will make his debut performance in Bulgaria with a 3-hour DJ set. Also, we will have the rare chance to hear the newest live patters by the enigmatic Vizar. CTS residents Scav and Cinnamint will take care for the opening and closing slots, our VJs for the night will be minimaleye and Zurdoid.

Tadan Area127 / LT

Tadan (Tadas Majeris) - Lithuania's beacon of new techno/trance. With performances at renowned venues such as Berghain and numerous other European clubs and festivals, Tadan has firmly established himself as a prominent DJ and producer. His sets are energetic and rhythm driven, yet deep and hypnotic, mixing various styles.

Continuing to evolve his unique sound, Tadan has released an impressive array of music, including a full-length album and several EPs. In 2022, while based in London, he founded "area127" label, which in just two years has made a significant impact on the global music scene, releasing four vinyl records and an equal number of digital releases. Besides a record label, area127 has blossomed into a dynamic series of parties and an art platform, fostering collaborations and promoting progressive creators. Tadan's vision through area127 is to unite artists for joint creative projects, pushing the boundaries of electronic music and art.
